Chiswick retains a sense of village charm with wonderful green spaces which offer a wealth of leisure facilities including golf, tennis, rowing and cycling; with the River Thames Path a perfect place to take a peaceful stroll. Just a short journey away are the magnificent botanical gardens at Kew and Richmond Park, famous for its red and fallow deer which have roamed there freely since 1637.
The nearby A4/M4, and M40 mean access into and away from London is fast and convenient. Heathrow airport is only 20 minutes drive.
Leading independent schools
The area contains some of London’s leading independent schools, including Orchard House and Chiswick & Bedford Park; as well as some well regarded state schools. Those with an interest in performance will be delighted to discover the renowned Arts Educational School which offers a range of courses.
Bedford Park
Tree lined Bedford Park was London’s first garden suburb and in recognition of this has been awarded conservation area status.
